Right, 2024 was an outlier because of Bidens daft decission to run again. But John Kerry, Hillary, and Harris all had/have a distinct lack of charisma and absolutely 0 appeal to young people. I think AOC might be a good bet in 2028, something I never really thought before.

All those things mattered but Harris went for the center. 'Hey Opra, I've a glock in my glove box, dont mess with me'. Where she should have been appealing to kids on college campuses or even Highschoolers. So much stuff like climate, seemed regurgitated think tank speel. No one related to her.

for sure. I think the biggest issue is apathy brought on by the electoral college system. I'd imagine a lot of people figure their federal vote doesnt matter/count and they'd be right. We desperately need a candidate to run on electoral reform.

or the 35% of eligible voters that didn't turn out last time round. Run a progressive, you won't get Republicans but you might get a lot of new voters.

Right but a white Irish person protesting has a very different background to say a white English person. We (Irish) share a very similar story to Palestine. There is no 'white saviour' mentality, just recogition.

Agreed. I don’t mean it in a derisory sense. More in sense that all protest is performative to an extent. It’s effective. Incredibly brave people sailing in to that situation.
