A heavy relic custom Stratocaster in black with a spooky vintage style paint job, again heavily relic, which is Fender jargon for being weathered in the factory, so the paintjob is purposely aged and damaged. It's of a skeleton and bones in purple and blue with yellow teeth. The rear of the guitar with an addilitonal skull with the Fender F on its forehead.

A black and white ink drawing (I think. Might be a woodcut or anything with the guys working back then) of Cinderella looking in a mirror. It's beautifully detailed in Clarke's comfortable and elegant style. She looks like an elven princess, with her eyes narrowed, coloured lips and a noble and graceful profile. Her hair flows down over her shoulders, the fingers of her left hand tangled in her tresses. Her dress is white, embroidered with scattered flowers and pinned and girdled in bunches with brooches and belts. The shaded faces of two mean looking women (the evil stepsisters) are scowling at her from the dark background in the upper left corner.

It's a boxy music keyboard with a separate computer keyboard sitting on top and a separate box monitor screem to the left of Kate. It was a complicated piece of equipment. A sampler with synthesis or a synth with sampling. They sell for insane money now. She also has a full size Celtic harp sitting behind her. The picture is from the mid-1980s based on its content.

My Astérix t-shirt. It's a French shirt, it says "Astérix le Gaulois" down the bottom. His name is large in red with the rest smaller in black. The shirt is yellow. There's an image of him drinking his magic potion in his usual pose, floating above the ground with lightning strikes coming out of him as he gulps it down.

Me wearing a black t-shirt with the Goblin logo on it. It's mostly taken up by a red winged devil playing a fiddle. He's standing on a white oversized G and the rest of the band's name is spelled in smaller white letters. Goblin are an old Italian prog band who were really cool and involved in the soundtracks for Argento's movies and stuff.

Mod I made for Javik in Mass Effect 3 LE. Got nominated for a Nexus award. Very proud of it.

I faked the iridescence using a green spec over the red/blue gradient. Is that not clever?

A spooky old gate lodge on a crumbling aristocratic rstate. We are viewing it from the end of the garden on a cold and foggy day. It's in an almost Germanic style with a roof that flares out a little over the eaves and small, square glass windows in rotting frames. The ground is covered with leaves and the lower branches of tall trees claw at the air over our head.

Well, I mean a natural photo is a natural photo, not off the top of my head. I just see a lot of death metal band photos and they mostly suffer from the same problems. If you do pose for a picture, I'd say still be natural, is all. Like this one.

This is the Ballinderry Sword, found in the remains of a crannóg in Westmeath in an Irish warrior's gear. It's one of the finest Ulfbehrt swords in existence. It's a cliché in the Norse sagas for famous lives to end suddenly in Ireland. I wonder who he killed. #history #ireland #Gaelic #Norse
A picture from the National Museum of Ireland on Kildare Street in Dublin. Here we see a remarkable well preserved German medieval sword in the style associated with the Norse and Germanics in general. The lettering can be seen on the hilt, where the smith, probably one of a familial line, signed their name, Ulfbehrt. This is the most famous and respected name in swords of this time and place.

This is three paintings, a triptych. It depicts a horned spectral figure, a giant, in a vortex of clouds in the sky in the upper half of the central painting. Many thousands of naked human bodies are swept up in the vortex, spiralling around the great deity in a storm of flesh. It's an epic image on a grand scale and it's very much reminiscent of renaissance and later paintings of hell. That seems to be the inspiration, overall. I could not say what Johfra would say his intention was.

The Esker Riada is a a series of natural ridges running East to West across Ireland that's been used as a highway since prehistoric times. The main road still follows it for significant parts of the journey.

I have a 1959 West German army parka with a padded liner. Only one batch of them like that. Has a different design to modern ones, too. Elbow pads and stuff. Changed in the early 60s I think. Ignore the cat.

A vintage Bundeswehr (West German Army) parka from 1959. These are an iconic cold war design and became a staple of counter culture clothing for decades. This one is very rare. Another shot of the parka from the side so that you can see the elbow pads, which are a part of the early design that was changed for another in the 60s. A shot of the inner padded liner of the parka with a cat asleep on it. This is super rare with only one batch made. They have a fine fleece liner traditionally.
