Last night I finished the "Roots" section of The Overstory. With its elevated syntax and diction to describe relative mundanity I was reminded of the film Oppenheimer (elevated visuals/music/editing for its mundane subjects). I'm tempted to listen to the Oppenheimer soundtrack while reading "Trunk."
