Been working really hard since late July to get some RL stuff done. Been doing my best to keep high energy and positivity, and focus on my mental state, while feeling less divided dealing with daily stress.

Sadly I feel like that ran out of steam today, so I might be a bit low energy for a while. 😮‍💨

First time making a turnip bisque from scratch, and the first time trying turnips in general. Not too bad, very earthy and mellow. Could easily fit into a curry dish. Actually used some curry spice in the bisque and it had a good solid cozy fall vibe. 🍂

So decided to call UPS one final time before bed last night, and after some research we found out it was US Customs that dropped the ball on the package. In their words: 'We forgot it was there in the system'.

Package arrived this morning intact, expedited by UPS. One less stress for me.

Yeah, I got that experience with FedEx all the time, which is why they're my most disliked. But UPS letting a package sit in a warehouse not moving for 3 weeks, while I get 4 emails a day about 'it'll be delivered today"/"it'll be delivered tomorrow" is just a massive stressor.
