Are you serious? You think the library doesn’t work to increase the reading level? You think it’s a bad thing to have an educated populace if they are free to travel elsewhere? Are you trolling?

Yes, this is true. The previous mayor had initiatives to bring healthy food access to the city. I helped work on those programs. The new mayor is not continuing those programs and has no plan to replace them.

Also, police do not prevent crime. Police themselves argued in the supreme court that they don’t have a responsibility to protect and serve and they won. Police protect property. Education and access to resources prevents crime. If you care, look it up and start reading.

I’m not sure why you think defunding the library is ok because… what, a lot of kids can’t read? You know adults use the library too right? And there are educational materials in the library? Why do you want to punish the library for a school failure?
