The setup and defied expectations with the tension is exquisite.

It used to be a spectacle of celebration. Now it's a threat.

My watch simply stops in the middle of the night if I don't move enough. The punishment is winding it manually and resetting the time. It tells me I've been slack with no opportunity to make up the necessary activity, which seems quite mean.

I killed my ancient account there the day he did that salute. My dad is a refugee from that shit. The scars he carries since childhood run deep, he's quite broken.
If I see the logo on a business' website, I usually choose a different business.

A few people have done so with other industries though. I expect their "success" lies in being a big enough pain in the ass to make money being bought out to get rid of them.

2/2: That's my paraphrasing of a discussion with a family member who was managing drilling and completions in Kurdistan after the gulf war and living in Iran at the time. They said you'd have to be a special kind of stupid to go anywhere near this.

1/2: No competent company will risk losing whatever they spent to go in there without being certain of the next 20 years. They want a guaranteed ROI that will be worth the reputational fallout of acting like a corporate looter. It just doesn't add up.

I think we should ask them to GTFO from both Venezuela and Pine Gap until they can behave themselves.

If you need a legend, your graph sucks. If your legend is all shades of the same colour, you suck.

To be fair, there are nails for concrete for fixing carpet edge strips. They do tend to cause spalling though. You can't really hang a picture off them.

The issue is hydrogen is extremely inconvenient about staying in the damn tank, and it loves to collect in high places around light fittings, and takes a tiny bit of energy to go bang. It's a red herring from the fossil fuel industry. Oh and it's energy density is pretty bad too.

Quite ironic considering I just watched Anton Petrov's new video about Kessler syndrome and solar storms. He makes a few statistical reaches in it though.
