This is the comms trap Democrats set for themselves. Leadership chose to make healthcare costs the defining stakes of the standoff/shutdown, and since most voters don’t follow policy, if the GOP makes a deal on ACA it may just look like politics as usual—that Trump “fixed.”

It should absolutely be more than a debate on healthcare, because when the GOP finally offers a deal, Democrats won't get credit for it, and they will have abdicated the more compelling platform of: "This is an out-of-control government run by idiots, criminals, and Nazis, and it must be stopped."

The only times I couldn’t keep up were soccer weekends with my daughter where the Saturday/Sunday games were 90 miles away—too close to stay over in a hotel, too far to fill up on a 110v charger. Those required a bit of planning around public chargers.

I’ve had several EVs/PHEVs and all have just been plugged into a regular, grounded outdoor outlet.

It’s nice to be able to rapid charge at home but unless you’re doing long daily commutes with no charging at work, yeah, it’s not necessary.

IRL, Libs of Tik Tok (backed by “scholarship” of people like Singal) harassed hospitals into changing their mind on providing trans healthcare.

It’s an interesting/sad dynamic that violent reactionary harassment works bc “mods” get scared, but non-violent progressive stuff is just…annoying.
