I've been trying to marathon drawing red muscle ch5 pages when im off work to get a print edition ready for AX Chibi but I'm right at my cutoff time for print turnarounds and I still have 11 pages to go

not sure if I'll have anything new for that convention either, its been a shitty year for art😭

i tend to over-explain my character moments in my comics and i know it cheapens my writing but its something thats hard to untangle in my brain

i still have a hard time finding people that both “get it” AND like the thing im making lol

i found out recently that “hell is other people” is actually about people forming ideas of who you are that are wrong and not being able to fix it and i feel like i get that feeling a lot when i try to talk abt my art

I'll say it again, Art is communication.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.

i just played through this demo, this team already had a great gameplay system from cross code that they built upon here but the art direction and graphics of Alabaster Dawn are incredible

i keep thinking abt getting into older KOFs because i like the movement options but the 4 buttons is just not as fun, i wish there was a retro fighter that was a blend between SFA2/3 and KOF (sf6 is ok and im not interested in snks fighters lately)
