You are not barking by the way. Um. That's my name. My name is Ruff but I lengthen it to Rufous.

But she's so hard to sell because she's the first main character and stands like THIS in her character introduction and you go, "Ruff, this portrait is too stiff!" Until you flip the page and see the others and go, "Ah. I see. She's just like that."

6/6 All this to say I'll just change his design with no canon explanation lol. I need to work on it a little longer, mostly the proportions, but he looks better already.

(His hair had already been changed.)

Zucchini will also get a slightly less noticeable redesign.

5/6 But his design tells you... Nothing. He is dressed in a fun way, which isn't necessarily a children-only thing, but combined with his design it makes things worse. He looks like a tall chinless child with long limbs! I kept this design for the sake of continuity. Until now.

4/6 The thing is, this character is supposed to be an adult. He's in the role of an adult, he is in this dating sim with adult characters, and even if he doesn't date anyone, he should be able to potentially date them. Context tells you he is an adult.

3/6 His design was a joke on bad AI generated art! (So was Zucchini's) He's based on these characters from this very quick scene. The "fictional AI" took random pieces from the characters below to create this one!
(No real AI was involved of course, I did that.)

2/6 I had to design the characters, draw the backgrounds, write the script, draw the character sprites, make those musical dialogue files, and edit the video.
His first appearence was literally the first drawing I've made of him. No sketches. No alternatives.

It's not just that I'm creating a coded language btw. That's like, normal.

It is how you can clearly see my frustrations with other code alphabets (and the Latin alphabet itself!) that's abnormal😅
