Uh ... How does that work? Tariffs are paid on imports, this sounds like it's on exports. Is it an export tax or is it a tariff on chips that enter the US intended to be sent elsewhere? I don't think that's how that works, and even if it did, companies will just route chips to avoid the US entirely?

He personally benefits from dollar devaluation. His money is all in assets like property, stocks and crypto, these tend to retain value as the dollar inflates away. His debts are denominated in USD, the more inflation their is, the lower the true value of that debt.
