Oh magic is my violin and cello. These are just guitars. I 3D print violins This is my newest design. 1959 Flying V ES 4/4 Electric Violin. The composite filament for my madness just arrived. A Glass fibre in Orange. Gibson will sue me any day now. I’ve sent them the design

It’s good fun. Black guitar Month 2 for pals so I decided was time to strip this really rare 87 Bass. Son who would know better than I says it sucks an art guitar at best so I’m modifying the crap out of it to make it a player. I’ve the body set perfect now one chip on belt screw then new clear coat

@rwgraham.bsky.social good and bad news from EMG. I have to buy 2 pickups with pots battery hook up port I can’t use and no switch at $151.00 each then a balance dual pot $79. Is the bad news. The good news is it had to be done.

Bought grandson an RC can’t wait for it to arrive should be this week. Looks pretty good and easy for little guy to fly. I’ve a drone also so we should have fun the week he’s stuck with the old folks

I love taking an old shitty guitar which won a wood lottery years ago and turning them into solid players $70 Epiphone no strings broken nut no love when I found it.

This is because felt washer departed and was used with loose screw. So to mitigate it from migrating I’m adding GluBoost Everything I got with a nitro pen

It’s about to get a tiny touch up with GluBoost Black cause I have another badly damaged black guitar on the bench. Then it’s getting 5 new coats of clear water sanded 2&4. EMG modified a kit for me to keep Dual Balance volume. I’ve already called it Devil Duck and added some contrast

Zoom you can see rust all over bridge screws I had to clean the taps replace the screws. For a 7.5 pound bass the full body makes up for some resonance. It had EMG & failed preamp dated 1985. Much improved gear going in Dual volume with red knobs & two tone pots DC switch and LED

I haven’t met up with a guitar group yet. I’ve got a rare lame guitar I’m challenged to make into a playable lightweight (7.5#) The main flaw is the nut is a fret. It’s getting Gluboost black on tiny chip several coats Oxford clear. 18V preamp The nut and metal pup mounts are red. Cutting a nut in

Much has progressed since first drawing. The chin rest is still having an argument with me. I’ve settled on a carbon fibre leaf with TPE top. I’m struggling to make it adjustable so any help welcome. The rest I’ve tested and happy with

I printed the body in a plastic you cure in the oven after printing. It’s translucent transitional Smoke glitter translucent pickguard with Canadian Maple Neck Wilkson pickups. The filament is called Nebula from Proto-Pasta from Washington. It’s a nice weight for a tiny girl.
