I am very glad I was not on dog walking duty this morning. Especially as Sammy decided the rain wasn't wet enough and hopped in a small pond for some extra wetness.

I'm sure he'll find a way to spend that for you...

Yes indeed. The virtual experience is so much better than it used to be - which was just the keynotes. One good thing to come from COVID! Very much appreciated.

7:30 here was earlier of course, but at least it only took me 15 minutes from bed to desk via the kitchen for coffee :-)

It does feel odd not to have the keynote at the start to properly kick off the event with some "buzz". I guess the timing is to try and catch as much as possible of the online audience while they're awake?

If I was there in person I would be annoyed to have got there at 8:30 for that first session!

It will be interesting to see if the keynote later generates more traffic. I'm not hopeful.

That's true, but the SAP community previously on Twitter scattered during the mass X-odus and there just aren't so many people here, it seems. I think more ended up on LI.

It looks like there might be more #SAPTechEd posts over on LinkedIn than here.

There hasn't been much #SAPTechEd activity here at all, sadly. I keep hoping each year it will improve. Maybe this year is the one...?

Sammy is getting a little more tolerant in his old age, but only when they are quiet. As soon as they are close or loud he finds somewhere to hide.

A heat pump with some really long pipes between the hot and cold ends. That would work, right? 😁
