The fam spent Independence Day in Boston touring important historical places. My favorite by far: the USS Constitution. The USN runs the ship and they allowed me to go into the bilge to touch the original 227 year old keel!!!!!

A few pictures can't explain how it felt to stand there in that ~200 year old structure. I couldn't get over how small it was, even after the expansions. It was a nothing room that generations of people lived in.
