Ended up going with the Arkham Asylum set over the Black Pearl. It was cheaper, had more pieces and twice as many minifigs, and Lego has double Insider Points on Batman shit until the 20th. Can’t wait to build this sucker!

Whoa! This looks AMAZING. Between this and the Enterprise-D set coming in November, it’s a fantastic end to the year for Lego sets.

Got my Wolverine #1 (1988) and #2 (1988) back from CGC. 7.0 for #1 was expected, the covers have some imperfections and chafing, but 9.0 for #2 was a pleasant surprise! Considering I’ve had them for, like, 37 years (got them new on the newstand as a kid) they’re in remarkable condition.

I’ve started working through my pile of unbuilt Lego sets. Here’s set 75402, the ARC-170 Starfighter! It’s a fun ship, though it’s pretty small and pretty expensive for its size.

I know this sucks, Calgary Heritage, but we still have to get out there in droves. I usually vote NDP, for all the good it’s done, but this election we have to soundly reject the Conservatives’ far right policies and nonsense slogans. Supporting the Liberals is how we do that in our riding.
