These SEC offenses are hard to watch. Drive after drive of twitter plays and gimmicks, with absolutely no base plays and no answers when they face a real defense and don't just get guys running free every play.

Will have to wait for the A-22, but late in the game Ohio ran the heck out of the QB. Countered Miami's adj. with a real cool wrinkle: starting with a zone read mesh (Miami was trying to force a give read), and turning it into a QB Follow play with both components of the mesh ducking under the DE

1 - DL stunts/twist/surf and get a 2 for 1 there
2 - Scrape exchange or pop out the LB and get a 2 for 1 there
3 - Post safety plays the QB
Not sure wha this is but later in the game you'll see the post safety creeping down

On 3rd & Med/Long you gotta decide as a defense whether you want to be Screen/Draw sound or whether you just want to tee off on the passer and risk it. Here around midfield (4 down territory) Miami has a wrapping DL *and* is playing zone ... usually a good call vs Draw and they still get gashed.

Hard to stomach a misfit. Motion by Z WR, weak side LB over adjusts, end up with 4 boundary defenders D-Gap or wider.

Good run scheme or misfit? Both the down safety and BSLB end up in Playside A. BST Fold really messes with the LB. Hard to play 1-man 1-gap defense vs pulls/folds esp. when you get nothing out of your DL movement

same play, here again they trying to scrape-exchange (i think), DE chases but LB still gets sucked up and capture by OT, end up with 2 B-gap players, not option sound. QB should pull and be a free runner to the post safety

seeing more and more O answers vs squeeze and pop and scrape-exchange. if you're playing option rules and the OT is able to turn you out, can be rough. at some point college Ds need to get back in 2-high to be option sound
