So, after all that, my dad had to buy my mom a new vacuum, new bedding, and had all the floors redone in the bedroom. It was an expensive drinking night for him. And now every Thanksgiving eve, I remind him, on FB to not overdo the drinking

We bring her some food and we are hanging out in her room and she looks at my dad and goes Wayne, you don't look so good, and he good, yeah I'm hungover, and she replies, well that's stupid. I almost peed myself i was laughing so hard

Thanksgiving happens, my dad can barely eat, his mom, my Memere defends him all day while the rest of the family busts him all day. Then the 3 of us went to visit my grandma (moms mom) in the nursing home since she couldn't come to the house

I get to the house early so I can help out, I can tell my mom is not pleased but I don't know why yet. My dad walks down to say hi, and he is white as a ghost, and I'm like wtf happened and my mom hisses , he's hungover to which then I hear the whole story

The vacuum breaks while she is cleaning it all, and by this time my dad is just sleeping on the living room floor cause it's nice and cold... yeah. My mom manages to clean everything and get back to bed but she has to get up early to finish cooking

At about 3am, my mom wakes up to my dad just sitting on the edge of the bed puking, yes all over the bedroom floor. He finally crawls, yes crawls to the bathroom but now my mom has to clean the floor, remove all the bedding to get that in the laundry, she is not pleased

First place they go, dad has a few martinis, the friends there convince them to go to a 2nd bar, where my dad has beer and shots, yes shots. They then end up at a 3rd place and more shots more beer. My mom finally convinces him to go home

So to start, this was in 2012, and at that time we still had about 20 people at my parents house for Thanksgiving, so my mom baked a bunch the night before. My dad somehow convinced her that they could go out for just a few drinks and it would be fine so she did
