I’m not saying it is a bad paper, but I’ve never read it. Point was more that I am not sure how relevant it is. The AF Times was regularly read and often lying around the office. That was the paper we went to for military news. I can only speak from my experience though.

23 years in the military. I saw it on sale in the BX and it would be in waiting rooms. Don’t remember ever seeing anyone actually reading it though. Not that this isn’t bad, just not sure that many people read it. Always figured it was just feel good propaganda.

Interesting because I live in a neighborhood that greatly skews towards Indian immigrants in the US. Every other house has at least one Tesla.

Does that include gas company execs?

Doesn’t GSA do the renovation anyway? How much does Powell have to do with it?

This kind of shower is standard in a large part of the world, at least from my travels. Not really WTF, just not what us Westerners are used to.

It does sort of, but I just finished Starcom last month and that big triangle shaped ship is a key quest ship, so I recognized it immediately. As well as the little UI things.

Lots of "nutrition" YouTubers have been pushing the carnivore diet for years. They are so over the top that it is to the point of absurdity. Going as far as saying plants are bad for people

Oh yeah, I didn't have hand warmers when I was there. That will help if it does get too cold. Don't forget to bring dry spare socks. My feet were always freezing at the end of a long hike no matter how good of socks/shoes I had.

You will also be surprised how much cold air comes in through the crack of those fold-back mittens when it's really cold and windy. Not too bad in normal cold though.

I did a year in Greenland a did below zero F hikes. Personally I liked regular mittens best. Fingers' own warmth radiates best without liners and if they are big enough you can make a fist for more warmth. Taking gloves off completely for pictures etc was no big deal IMO.

The clip cut out as she was saying "I am extremely grateful..." I assume the rest of of the sentence was "...for all the money I made out of the deal!"

Option 3, it was sarcasm.
January 2, 2026 at 2:23 PM
Do you freeze it at least? It will have long gone rancid by mid year otherwise. I am guessing it's dirt cheap because it is already very old.

You can blame people like me, I had no idea the rind on cheese was ever edible.

Are they that stupid, or do they think that we are that stupid?

Relevant, but old news, and I saw a few people post it without saying "This is from last March."
December 30, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Why do people keep posting this? They canceled the 2026 schedule last March.
December 29, 2025 at 4:41 AM
Sorry if I am not following, but they canceled these performances last March it appears, before the whole renaming thing.

More computer game discussion and less TV show talk please. 😀 Which Fallout are you currently playing? 4? The reviews of the latest update are scaring me away.

But just think, in 50 years when their “spacemen” are testing for promotion, there is going to be a test question for who created SF! And their study booklet will always have a big picture of Trump in the first chapter. They will build statues of him.

I am surprised they donate that much to democrats being a company from KY. Looking through their history they tend to give to both parties. They have donated more to dems in some years, as recently as 2022. 🤷🏻‍♂️ www.opensecrets.org/political-ac...

Yeah that is an old picture. I remember seeing it 20+ years ago before we had social media. I think of it anytime anyone mentions WY and wind.
