Yeah bred and circuses but the broadcast for the London game is absolutely atrocious. Each commentator has a different mic level, the actual broadcast sound effects are all over the place too. Mics on the field are picking up insane amounts of stadium noise that’s not fans. Just so bad

I’m all for analyzing music and artist intent as a former AP Eng/Lit kid. But sometimes I think you guys are entering pseudo-intellect levels of glaze when talking about pop stars. Like sometimes it really is just dance music with surface level lyrics

ADHD and Autism have successfully usurped OCD/Depression/anxiety as the mental illness du jour. The easy, palatable, and sanitized version of something that directly impacts someone’s life substantially. A “touch of the ‘tism” is a quirk that loosely ascribes the tiniest symptom to neurotypicals
