Is the pattern that we are not good enough when it really counts?

Yes. An Emery mistake not to play him. Torres at fault for the first goal, and possibly the second too as he backed off creating the space for the shot.

Have we improved? This season we haven't won anything and won't make the Champions League. Performances through the season have been mostly worse than last year. We've regularly lost to teams we should be beating. And we still haven't got what it takes at the business end of competitions.

We are a 'blended family' (cringe, but it does describe it). Board games helped connect us and gave us shared experiences (with the odd argument thrown in). Though we are now in the uni- phase, we still play games when we are all together.

Delete the bad place! It feels good.

And that is after a start where we have known we have not been playing our best. It will click and we will be competitive!
