Rupert is still with us. We’re fighting for him. We love him so much. Took him to the vet and got him some heart medicine. He’s been doing much better in some ways. We’re aware he won’t be here too much longer but we’re hoping to ease his heart and suffering. There’s no medicine to ease our pain.

I have been experimenting with our night light system for Rupert. Shutting off the red LED lights when going to sleep. All hell is breaking loose. As I lay dozing I could feel Rupert climbing up the bed, pillow and then my head. He sat there for a few moments. He can see better!

Rupert in his sleeping nest next to his snack bar. He’s finished with the corn 🌽 cob so he dropped it in his poop box. He puts it there or near his front door. Some hamsters toss out their trash. Rupert is one of them. 🐹
