Danced all my life. Contra, Flat-foot jig, tap, Cross-step Country Waltz, English Country Dance, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Blues, Solo Jazz, Salsa. World Traveler, hiker, storyteller. Very petite, active senior. I have a big smile and personality😆

April 1: After a fabulous dinner in Santa Monica with my contra dance friend, went to Huntington Beach and boarded Queen Mary for Casablanca night at backroom SpeakEasy. Good dancers, dressed in vintage style.

March 30: Drove 2000+ miles from S Cal to OR visiting friends and family. Went down memory lane to my HS, Teen Center where I met my husband @ 15, church we were married @ 18, then new places like Casablanca night @ Queen Mary & Contra dance @ Santa Barbara. Ate at best ever Mex cafe🥗

March 19: Arrived @ LAX. My 94 yr old StepDad was in ICU. He’s my rescue Dad! My Mom was older, he was 15 yrs older than me. A cool handsome young Dad & body surfer my gal pals envied. Once an only child, I have siblings that are the same as my own. We gathered as he passed peacefully on March 28.

March 19: Arrived @ LAX. My 94 yr old StepDad was in ICU. He’s my rescue Dad! My Mom was older, he was 15 yrs older than me. A cool handsome young Dad & body surfer my gal pals envied. Once an only child, I have siblings that are the same as my own. We gathered as he passed peacefully on March 28.
Fifty Shades of brown: I’m trying different temporary hair colors as I go from white/grey to light brown. Luckily the color fades with each wash, so it’s always a fun slow change before new application.

Feb 12: After being called an old lady w/ white hair in Bristol Jan 17, I dyed my hair brown. I can’t change being an old lady, but perhaps when I’m dancing with folks 40 years younger, they won’t realize I’m old enough to be their grandma👵 Still trying different shades of brown.

Feb 8: Saarbrucken GbR @ AllThatBlues dance weekend. Cold outside but hot jazz band and dancers inside! You can dance slow drag blues and not put your drinks down!

Jan 17: Bristol UK. At jazz club on amateur comedian night. At intermission MC mentions loud talking white haired old lady in the back! I am hard of hearing & had drunk a beer. Embarrassed & emboldened I said “Give me 2 min. I’ll make them laugh!” Some said I made their night. I am a storyteller!

Jan 17: Bristol UK. At jazz club on amateur comedian night. At intermission MC mentions loud talking white haired old lady in the back! I am hard of hearing & had drunk a beer. Embarrassed & emboldened I said “Give me 2 min. I’ll make them laugh!” Some said I made their night. I am a storyteller!
Jan 30: Today would have been my 60th wedding anniversary. Met Bill at a dance when 15. Married at 18. It was a fabulous 47 years. Since then I’ve travel on the William Memorial traveling fund (His life insurance policy😉). Celebrated in Vienna. Got lost in metro. Dined in oldest cafe. 🍹To You Bill😍

Jan 31-Feb 1: Brno, CZ JazzBerry swing dance weekend. It’s cold out, but fast moving dancers warm up inside. Workshops & eve socials ‘til 3am. Stayed extra days to explore historic district. Met one other dancer over 65!
