Reasonable. But what are the different “medicines” in this case vs a true fascist dictatorship? We need to be rid of these people asap. Obviously there’s the ballot box but that assumes they don’t eviscerate the vote by intimidation, harassment, chicanery, etc. I hope they can’t. But they’ll try.

I mean that’s kind of where I land on this. These people are so despicable, so fascist-leaning, seems trivial to argue about it. I don’t think people - whether they’re technically accurate or not - are calling this shit fascism because they love drama. I would love nothing more than less drama now

I’m curious why you want to die on this hill. You’re right that we are not currently living under a fascist regime. But they’re certainly fascistic. They’ll do whatever they can get away with & they keep pushing. So why quibble? Do we wait til it’s too late to say “ah, now it’s true fascism!”?

I'm horrified at the shooting of Charlie Kirk & I hope he recovers. He's an absolutely repugnant person & a toxic force in our society but I deplore violence. Yet I can't help but ask all the 2nd amendment crusaders: where was the good guy with the gun to stop this? When will you open your eyes?
