I found it - and Queen's Flash Gordon soundtrack - on CD at a random record store in Ohio, I think, in '92. Was 18 yrs. old, had been hunting for it for 10 yrs. Formatted it to WAVE and MP3 in '98, still have the files, MP3 is on my phone.

🤣 It was won largely by General Washington's strategy and tact, moving away from traditional warfare and relying on deception, intel, guerrilla warfare, and leadership. Without him, Britain would have swallowed us whole.

So, you don't have an actual goal. That's the problem with reactionists. No goal, no tact, just raging against the machine. Wake up to the fact that this machine will chew you up and spit you out. We have to fight this intelligently, fire that one well-placed stone at the forehead of the giant.

Exploit their gross incompetence. They've left the door wide open in their zeal to recruit hastily. We need to infiltrate the organization. A reporter recently did this. Assess exactly what we're dealing with. Sow internal divisions and distrust. Divert away from liberals as a common enemy.

Indeed, I do. It's called a "False Dichotomy," and is an attempt to force us into believing that we only have two choices: violence or acquiescence. It negates other ways and means, more covert, effective means that don't bait us into subservience OR direct engagement. Ways intel-ops topple regimes.

This has elements from our own Civil War, Gilded Age class conflict, European fascist ideology and its spread to the U.S. prior to WWII, the Civil Rights struggle during the 60s, 9/11 and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the rise of Putin and Erdoğan on the world stage.

I teach it. This isn't even close. Apples and oranges. Dealing with a monarch from across the Atlantic 250 years ago isn't even remotely the same battle. Mass and instantaneous communication, an internal paramilitary organization made up of our own citizens, etc.

Even totalitarian regimes rely on a healthy mandate from a large cross-section of the people. Public sentiment is already bending against ICE and Trump's actions. Internal collapse: the only thing that binds MAGA together is their hatred of liberals. They'll turn on each other without a common enemy

They have been FAR from purged. Without revealing too much, there's still very decent, moral officers and soldiers who make up the backbone of each branch. Don't confuse silence with acquiescence.

Probably safer for Minnesota with them there, as much as I hate to admit it. At least the military is trained and is comprised of mostly decent people. Maybe that'll temper some of ICE's worst tendencies.
