About a month ago I threw some bulbs in pots that I’d forgotten to plant in autumn. Some had begun to sprout. No sign of them peeping through yet. Am I living in misplaced hope?!

Really clear data. If schools were better funded for more staff at the very beginning, and the appropriate support put in place, then EHCP's would reduce, thus taking pressure off overcrowded maintained and Academy specials, preventing a need for expensive indy provision.

Don’t leave your strategic plan gathering dust on the shelf, engage all stakeholders, don’t ignore the feedback. Excellent advice in this short read.

Magical evening listening to the choirs of Pembroke College, conducted by Anna Lapwood at Snape Maltings tonight. Sublime, emotional, uplifting, perfect. Gifted harpist accompanying.

Filing offstage after a rousing ovation, we could hear them cheering in celebration. Wonderful 😍🎄

A man describes in perfect English how he escaped torture by the Taliban.

He explains why he wants to come to the UK “because I speak English”. It’s quite simple.

He believes neither France nor Germany will help him. He knows the risk of death.
He needs a safe, regulated route. #r4today
