I know someone who is often assigned to work when there's a protest. He wasn't at this one as he was assigned to another location.
The reason for a protest is to get media attention. They know how to act & edit footage to get the attention.

Bruises first appear red as blood is brought to the surface. It takes longer, an hour/s, for them to darker. Deeper bruising can take 24 hours or longer to appear.

I actually like American football, yes it's a bit long bit I can watch a replay on ESPN in 35 mins
The game is very complicated & I don't claim to understand most of it but I prefer it to league
I don't even follow a team, I don't find it necessary

Perhaps my smell has dimmed along with my memory. The saleyards/ abattoir used to smell but not so much the individual trucks.
Although I didn't appreciate one time I was gravity shunting a truck, using the handbrake to regulate it's speed, & a cow let loose of its bladder next to me. 😖

Perhaps my smell has dimmed along with my memory. The saleyards/ abattoir used to smell but not so much the individual trucks.

I used to load goods at Darling Harbour for a few months before becoming a guard on goods trains.
It was rare to have a strong smell. Wool, hay, some ores might have a small smell, even cattle or sheep truck weren't that pungent

I loved that song. It came out about 6 months before I met my first serious girlfriend & I used to sing along with the chorus. After 5 years together I realised it had become true.
