Why are we told that cutting carbon is the cure, when slashing emissions also removes cooling co-pollutants—likely triggering more short-term warming? Are we racing to save the planet long-term by destabilizing it even more short-term?

That's not how its being communicated, but it seems implied.

The fact that humanity is running out of colors to visually represent the calamitous state of our planet, is a shamefully unreported crisis. Thank you for bringing more attention to the issue. The most important thing we can do is talk about it.

I recommend "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift—an early and efficient plan to address wealth inequality by dietary adjustments for the wealthy. Prescient, practical, and arguably still in effect, just with more steps.
