this is coming from a people pleasing person though so i don't have a concept of telling people i don't want to do things, i admire your bluntness regarding the boring games

i feel this, though as the board game person, its a little difficult to hear something you may enjoy isn't interesting to someone especially if it means a lot to you, and i'm not saying that your friends have fixations on board games, but if they do maybe its worth putting up with it.
