Artist, engineer, Bitcoiner, creative - mashing it all up to make a better planet for all who squirm on the blue orb.
If you could pass this on to the expert you had on @moneybox.bsky.social . This is @freddienew.bsky.social sending members of the FCA at the Labour Party conference a bitcoin transaction, 'instantly' via Bitcoin's layer 2.0 Lightning network. Stephenson would have been proud. British innovation!

Surely you just have a duty to be accurate? Your 'expert' didn't know basic information about Bitcoin and how the Lightning network functions or why the difficulty adjustment keeps driving more miners to use wasted stranded and renewable energy... in 2025. Lightning started 2018, it isn't new..

A very interesting point. This is my speciality. Photo is me at the Labour Part conference talking Bitcoin mining to energy/infrastructure companies, MP's and ministers.

The part not many people grasp is the difficulty adjustment. It is why reduction in costs happen but not in the way you think.

Yep. Now ask yourself about the energy mix of the nations in question and the industry they use? Are they all on an inevitable path to build renewable sources to add to the grid like Bitcoin? Are they location agnostic? Able to use stranded & wasted GHG like CH4?..

Welllll.... were they wrong....
October 14, 2025 at 8:16 AM
You have no idea...

The photo is me talking with the National Grid about constringent and curtailment and you ignore but you don't understand them at a high enough level. It is fine to admit you don't know. It is difficult!

And why do you think the US wields such enormous power across the globe?...

Bretton Woods and the USD as a global reserve asset!

Our leaflet below, reverse text - UK has only a 0.2% slice of the multi £-billion bitcoin mining industry.

- Over-building of renewables
- Methane emission mitigation
- Grid balancing and stabilisation
- Heating of spaces and water
- Job creation and tax receipts

Still want to make a meeting happen to talk through how Bitcoin's oversized ability to make the transition to electrification happen asap. Disappointed not to see you at the LP conference where we did discuss this opportunity with energy producers, FCA and ministers. Bitcoin eats methane!

Bitcoin Policy UK were at the @labouruk.bsky.social conference this week talking about the clear water between Bitcoin (the innovation) & 'crypto' (the 99.8% scams). We educated regulators, ministers and public on the fiscal, environmental & human rights benefits Bitcoin brings.

This is exactly what we talked about with MP's and delegates at the @teamlabouruk.bsky.social conference these last few days.

See you at the Labour Party conference @serauk.bsky.social

B4 main hall. I have all those energy and environment papers with me let us dig and turn the tide on fossil fuels together!

On stage in Glasgow talking about stranded and wasted energy in Scotland and how Bitcoin mining can unlock that potential, over build RE and curtail methane emissions. All while being perfect demand response. #Scotland #Bitcoin #Methane #renewables

As Freddie New from BitcoinPolicyUK keeps pointing out month after month, non of this is 'unexpected'. Why it seems to be catching media and experts out is a complete mystery to Bitcoiners who can see the all too predictable results of easy print, debt based fiscal policies inevitable march.
