Definitely the cost.
The Ghost trial was nice, I liked the user experience but $18 a month eventually gets discouraging
Ghost is probably better for larger audiences than for people just starting out

I think you owe yourself two benefits of doubt here
1. They probably didn't even read it if they called it AI slop
2. Or the writing was too good and they expect that to only come from AI at this point
