I'd say the reason that younger gen z/gen alpha has a hard time with technology is because they weren't interacting with it when operating systems weren't just walled gardens that limit features

Like I grew up with Windows XP and Vista, even using windows 9x at times. I'm comfortable with both old and new technology. However younger people like my sister aren't able to figure out how to use Google to solve tech problems
