5 years ago today i left my life in Essex behind to start a new in Glasgow

Since I have worked for a Member of the Scottish Parliament, stood for Council twice, volunteered at world events, and now work for a Sport Governing Body

It has been tough at times but worth everything

Yesterday saw @scottishcycling.bsky.social hold its first Officials Conference in 4 years!

A fantastic event I am proud to have supported to make happen 😊 (I am now off for a rest)

Visited my old workplace at the Scottish Parliament today with my new work colleagues. Thank you to Thomas at visitor services for the wonderful tour and @paulsweeney.bsky.social for taking us to lunch in the Members’ Room 😊
