there’s something about how smooth its aesthetics and environment bridge into the story. Which seems obvious for any “good” story, but I just love how its always painting a picture. Even the UI is sleek as hell.

Anyways, the game is good, and I think it’s very much worth your time if you’re interested, especially since Episode 0 is a pretty sizable free prologue. I don’t feel like really typing up something right now, but

Megumi Mizutani isn't even credited as a character designer I noticed...

Though someone named Yuu Kisaragi is, which is interesting because they seem like they're new? I don't immediately see anything about them from a search.

Mmmmm but Megumi Mizutani feels more likely to have colored eye lines on characters. Buttt Pokémon has also sort of taken that as part of their style by letting you customize characters with that.

Man I need to see those 2D arts. Concepts would be sweet, but those tend to come later.

I'm not good enough at this yet. There's another duo I'm keeping in mind for this, but I'm leaning towards "no."

It feels a lot harder to tell when you're just looking at the designs themselves, but my guess mainly comes from Ivor. The way his hair is extremely square and especially that skin-tight black sleeve feel similar to some other designs they've done.

So Emboar wasn't enough after all that.

Haven't seen a Burgh mention, but I was compensated with something else.

My thought initially came from me apparently hallucinating that he was mentioned in X and Y’s museum because I guess I was confusing it for Castelia’s art gallery.
Either way, I’m hopping on that Burgh train.

Nothing wrong with liking little tidbits or fun facts for fandom reasons or indulging in the perspective of the author or liking what the author has to say, but you don’t need their validation. Art means to you what it means to you.

Just because the term “death” sounds negative doesn’t mean it’s like spitting on the author or whatever, or that any singular reader has the ”true” interpretation of the text. It just means their work speaks for itself, and sometimes it speaks in ways that the author might disagree with.

That said, I have seen it performed live twice, and, in that context, it does bang.

I know people really really like the Main Character, but I just cannot put a sarcastic, kind of cheesy, “been there done that” statement on society over the emotionally gripping, deeply personal, and lyrically vibrant works that this album has to offer in spades.
