Finished! There is at least a chance of holiday cards this year.

Also happening. I only have one desk right now, so it has to do double duty. It doesn't help that I have an oversized mouse pad, but I need that for the pc. Art gives me a way to calm back down after seeing the news. Joy in the weird and different, still a poke in the eyes of fascists.

It's happening.

I applied for a panel at Seattle Worldcon 2025. Wish me luck! I'll finish this either way. I already have a plan for inking it!

If you are on Facepalm, I am now www.facebook.com/ruthunit instead of www.facebook.com/ruthunit2. This fixes an issue that's been bothering me for months. I am the only "ruthunit" - accept no substitutes!

No prints this year. Next year? The odds are good, but the goods are odd. I did find a new ink (archival!) for my rapidographs, so I know what I need for Xmas. What do you need? Is it art? I have a couple of hand-inked originals available, as low as $400. Help me get those prints made! All by hand.

Inking! Just don't ask how long ago the pencil was completed. I use a light desk to trace the maze on bristol. Paper size 16" square. Micron 02. All freehand.

My dream is to do album covers.

For those of you who have not seen my work, I do hand-drawn artistic mazes. Yes, hand-drawn. I also do some semi-abstract fine-line design. But it's mostly mazes.

Today: My new desk arrives. Where will it go? Hahahahaha. There is space in my bedroom, where I can set up a television. There is less space in the man cave, where the playstation lives, but where I would have company. Is company a good thing? Yes. Is company a good thing when making art? Maybe.
