I wrote before. An ID IS required for a lot of things. So I don’t agree.

No, that’s not how it’s feels. We need an ID for a lot of things.

May be not so simple. But is a solution for a lot of things.
And if everybody is obliged to have one, is should not be that expensive.
But we think always that the US is one country in which everything can sort out on the same manner. But that isn’t the reality i understand.

I don’t know what poll tax is

In the Netherlands. Everybody with a registration gets an invitation for voting. At the voting office you need to show you’re invitation and you’re Id.

I think no one is so poor as in the US is possible.
But there are food banks in the big cities and breakfast supplies at some schools.

So simple. In the Netherlands everybody have and needs an ID card or passport. The costs of a passport amount to 90 euro an from an ID 80. So simple. Why don’t want the Americans this?
