Mr. Neutron is the most powerful and dangerous being in the universe. He is able to destroy galaxies with his wrist and tear fruit machines apart with his eyeballs.
So… typical Republican?

Failing his way upward!

Exactly. You identify yourself as disloyal to the Weiss project. Then they find an excuse to fire you for cause.
January 29, 2026 at 12:48 AM
What exactly is the offer? It doesn’t say.
January 29, 2026 at 12:39 AM
You can go fuck yourselves.
January 27, 2026 at 8:17 PM
Dude, it’s ok to just admit you don’t know what you’re talking about.
January 27, 2026 at 5:10 PM
It’s relevant because it explains why what you’re describing has no basis in reality to what goes on in a Flight Readiness Review board in military flight test or a decision for launch at NASA.
January 27, 2026 at 5:02 PM
Do you have any background at all in space sytems engineering or flight test?
January 27, 2026 at 4:36 PM
I didn't say Thiokol back doored the call. I meant Thiokol backdoored their engineers. The engineers were shocked to find the go ahead was given by their leadership. I really don't think you know what you're talking about.
January 27, 2026 at 4:27 PM
They're not debating opening another store in Pittsburgh. Its a go/no-go decision that effects lives. Every program manager (NASA) wants to get the program moving, that's why the engineers said no. You'll note the Rogers Commission called it an off-line mtg. Only company executives talked to NASA.

From a Wikipedia synopsis of the Roger's Commission report.

"Dissent gets forwarded directly now". Huh? This wasn't "dissent" Have you worked in flight test/space systems? The system they had in place hasn't changed a bit. It's called the no-vote in flight test. It's an awsome responsibility that takes courage to exercise.
January 27, 2026 at 3:16 PM
Higher ups never heard of this?? They're not necessarily supposed to hear about it. The engineers, who are the resident experts on the subject, make the call. The engineers got back-doored by the Thiokol leadership.
January 27, 2026 at 3:16 PM
Read what you just wrote. "Thiokol switched to approving the launch". I know NASA pressed for launch, but Thiokol caved. I worked in Navy Flight test for 29 years. Ultimately, you have to have the courage to stand up to pressure.
January 27, 2026 at 2:42 PM
It wasn't NASA that killed them. It was the suits at Morton Thiokol who killed them.
January 27, 2026 at 12:54 PM
Jesus. What’s he smoking?
January 27, 2026 at 3:23 AM
They fucked up. They trusted them.
January 27, 2026 at 3:19 AM
Are you getting fired with the rest of the WAPO staff?
January 27, 2026 at 3:13 AM
Well its a good thing the ICE agents disarmed him prior to murdering him!
January 25, 2026 at 3:50 PM
Is that why you sane-wash RFK jr every chance you get?
January 20, 2026 at 2:05 AM
He’s too stupid to make jokes. This is what he really believes.
