I tried. There apparently wasn't an install script option for Avowed on BattleNet (aka the version you get with PC Game Pass).

I eventually got there, though, by installing Visual C++ Runtime 2015-202X on the BattleNet install with Winetricks.

I was on the right track with Visual C++ through Winetricks. I just had to install the 2015 through 202X package, and not just the 2015-only.

Didn't have to touch any of the other settings from the Lutris BattleNet install script.

Still no luck with Ubisoft for me. I can't even get their storefront to install with the Lutris scripts. I did finally get Avowed on BattleNet working, though. So, there's one win.

I finally got Avowed running (after my 5th time downloading it)..

Had to nuke my Battle Net setup, and rebuild it from scratch. Then I had to use WineTricks to install the 2015+ Visual C++ Runtimes.

I stepped in roadkill because I was paying more attention to my phone than the road, Will.
