Well, I still have hand sewing ahead of me, a bunch of snaps, and praying my armor cooperates with my new plan, but the ugly, made up nonsense is all hidden now lol

I don't have time to take in the coat like it needs, so I'm ironically adding hip pads to help the bottom hang how it should.

One last ribbon made it to me in time (not attending until Saturday). I have slightly less of these due to size, but I think it's funny

Made with 3 types of black satin, black velvet, and red silk. Wire in the tiered skirts and horsehair in the hem. Everything gold (minus the trim) was made by @dangerousladies.ca though the shoulder armor was painted by me. Had to hunt for a fur that wasn't white; my apartment is now covered in it

I have a number of things to fix (shoulder armor attachment being #1) but I suspected as much before the test run. Hoping to have this in better shape by ALA and Fanfest (maybe Europe too? We'll see).

Every interaction I had with people who recognized me really made my day. I'm not normally shouted at across a crowded line con area 😅
