Just got a Missouri Amber Alert on my phone which included a link. So I click on it & does it take me to an official law enforcement website? Nope, it was a link to said law enforcement's post on X that I quickly closed. What I want is info, not info posted on a site that caters to trolls & racists.

So in my haste to follow people here who I recognized & followed on the bird app I forgot how many were political commentators or reporters. This does not bode well for my recent mental health policy of ignoring as much political news as possible. Does this count as irony?

It was always awesome to see him pop up in a Star Trek episode. It didn't matter if he was playing a completely different alien or human character, or even if it wasn't the strongest of episodes, he had a way of adding a level of gravitas to his role. RIP Mr. Todd.

So #Netflix said "no" to weekly episode releases of some of their more popular series. A tactic that would have kept the fandom fervor going for months & created weekly must see tv appointments. Now that #DanDaDan is weekly I hope they think about doing this more often with other shows.

One more thing about James Earl Jones, I'm not a baseball fan. I find it a boring sport with too many games per season. Yet every time I hear his character give the baseball speech in Field of Dreams I swear it fills me with this desire to give the sport another chance.
