Today, all Michigan House Republicans and 8 House Democrats decided that amidst the rising cost of living, removal of checks and balances, and the detaining of legal permanent residents without due process, we needed to focus on preventing trans girls from playing sports 1/2

I cannot stress how dangerous this is. In the United States of America, we do NOT have kings. You could say it’s kind of our whole thing.

A couple of things:
1. We pay more for 💊 than other countries because we treat healthcare as a business, not as a human right.
2. The cost of tariffs are ALWAYS passed on to consumers. And it is going to hurt
3. Starting unnecessary trade wars with our friends does make us the “stupid country”

Michigan House Republicans are trying to prevent working people from being paid a living wage and having access to paid sick leave. As always, they are looking out for special interests and their rich donors, not for you #MiLeg
