Connection with the community. There was a steady presence at various charities and community events. Idk if I’m remembering fully here but it seemed like back in the McCaw era (a famously absent owner) they had more community connection than they do under the Aqua slumlords

Great article. You reminded me of how much I miss Luongo. 2nd thought is that if Sherwood wasn’t as good as gone, I’d name him captain. Maybe try Myers in that role too. Lastly the community piece. It does seem like there’s a huge disconnect. I feel like when I was a kid (2000’s) they had a huge..

The continual price raising while only churning out a mediocre product signals a disconnect with the fan base. The in game entertainment product is brutal. They need a new DJ yesterday. The vibe is dead in the arena and the owner seems held bent on spinning his tires with dead end retool strategy.

Also Cassian Andor’s character holds a lot more depth in Rogue One because of the show.
But overall yeah I agree with you, I thought Rogue One was fine when I first watched it a decade ago, but not overly memorable at the time to me.

I watched Rogue One pretty much immediately after finishing Andor. I just think the theme of personal sacrifice for the sake of a collective hope/idea gets really enhanced in RO by Andor. Like you said, the 3rd act is great and is only made better by the show.
