Peters is eligible for community corrections as early as the first half of 2027. It's unlikely she serves anywhere close to 9 years. I asked why he thinks the sentence is harsh.

Live coverage of the State of the State begins shortly. Excited to bring this to Aspen, Boulder, Carbondale, Cortez, and Paonia, in addition to CPR’s coverage area.

Rogers Federal Bldg.

On our 1st date, he knew I was nervous, pushed my plate aside, clasped his hands around mine, and said, “I’m glad we’re here together.” Did he knock over my glass of Chianti? Yes.

We don’t see eye-to-eye, but always seek to understand.

He wasn’t kidding.

Speaking to a Canadian cowboy later today at the National Western Stock Show about rodeo as diplomacy.

For now, though, I’m thinking “Cowboy Boots and Cruisers” would make a good title for a book set in Colorado.

Newish Punjabi market and restaurant at 36 & Federal. Restaurant seemed overwhelmed by the number of tables, so I’m bookmarking for another day. Anyone been?

Unlike this spot, I am hardly a “symbol of purity.” (Oh and I love how the F and T in Farmers Market had to be pivoted out.)

His favorite food is toast.

Ran for city auditor in the 90s and lost.

Brings a foam hand to sports games and thinks it’s funny every time.

His parents hate me.

After we met, I fell in love with his next-door neighbor.

Nope

Didn’t he do a nice job? Also good news: insurance will cover the window repair and his landlord is covering the deductible

Crummy day, but I found someone’s wallet in the street and just got to return it. Great feeling.

My mics don’t often have long cords — let alone white ones — but someday I’m going to sling a mic cord over my shoulder just like Judy.

I finally watched an episode of “Heated Rivalry” to see what all the fuss was about. Steamy for sure, but too much of the show is screens of text laying out the chronology.

On the 5th anniversary of the January 6th US Capitol riot, Congressman Jason Crow proposes declaring 1/6 "Democracy Day." The Aurora Democrat says "no matter how many years go by, we cannot forget these events." His resolution outlines a day of programs and activities centered around civics.

Despite childhood pulmonary problems, he’s one of the strongest men I’ve met.

Outdoorsy, but likes a good Murder, She Wrote marathon.

VAST cufflink collection. Turquoise seahorse ones? Yep. Opaline cityscape? Uh-huh.

HECK TO THE YES
