So we may have a couple of peppers.....That I mysteriously discovered two days later were not in fact green peppers. I have no idea what we planted. It's been a lot of fun watching them ripen into random colors 😂 #Gardening #Outdoors #Zone7 #KSLiving

#Caturday meowment . I said we were going to relax. She's the only one who followed instructions. 😂 I got up at 6:00 in the morning, went and played pickleball, went to the grocery store, came home, balanced finances, did laundry, and studied Russian.

In the wake of all the chaos if you feel like you're just drowning in excessive information and over emotional inflation; my best piece of advice is staying informed without losing your mind is to READ the news, not watch it. Do not watch news. There's a lot of emotional inflation when you watch.

Did you get your flu shot yet? 👀 Most insurance covers it as part of having a plan. Some pharmacies even give them for FREE. OH! And if you're like me and you have a really strong immune system; your flu shots not really for you as much as it is for everyone around you who has half an immune system.

I am 76 & I have had most of these vaccinations at one time or another. Also vaccinations against Covid, Tetanus, plus Cholera & Yellow Fever when travelling in foreign countries.
These prevented me catching horrible diseases & dying a gruesome death. They did not harm me, they protected me!

The Fluffy goober and I have been doing well,but I have kind of been pulling myself away from social media for a variety of reasons. I realize that I'm not getting a lot out of it. So I don't log in without a very clear reason why. Being the cooking nerd that I am, it's usually to look up a recipe

So I recently learned from an attachment specialist that one of the reasons why I struggled to meditate was because my vagus nerve was disregulated to the point where my central nervous system couldn't fully regroup consistently. When you're chronically unsettled; your mind races for no reason.

A Kid wore a shirt with a rainbow on it. And there were all sorts of anti LBGTQ comments about them having a rainbow on the shirt. Please explain to me how people who think like this tolerate their own children owning a box of crayons. Can you explain it to me like I'm 5 years old? #Bigots #LBGT
