My media consumption from the 80s and 90s did not prepare me for the current state of world affairs. It really dispels the idea that assassins are all over the place, or at least the ones who would take out the bad guys occasionally. It’s like everything has been turned on its head.

When SciFi is done well it can be some of the more thoughtful and exploratory of stories. There is so much great media, whether it’s movies, books, games or TV shows, I envy you getting started in this genre.

The world will celebrate.

I’ve seen this series three times now all the way through and at different times in my life. Having just seen it the third time this year this episode hit much harder than it had before. This is a measure of great stories, to watch them again and again, while still finding new things in them.

Mine is making words out of the letters in the license plates in front of me, don’t get me started on my rules for them…

I love pie, for me it’s better than cake. Paul F Tompkins has a good argument for why cake is better, which I don’t agree with, but it is compelling.

They didn’t even size the letters to match. The attention to detail of these people says a lot.

The idea I had for the book I wrote (as of yet unpublished) had been bottled up in my brain for years before I had to get it out. It was taking up valuable real estate. That space has now of course filled up with more stories that need to get out.

Quite the opposite, there will be celebrations the world over when that one finally departs.

It was pretty bad on the Island for us too. But it’s certainly worrisome to see what’s happening in Abbotsford.

Also, a new fan of your writing, and with what you post a fan of you as well.

Is that Bastian Square? I can’t place it.

The scary part about that is how many people are going to wonder “what he’s doing with those little plastic squares and where can I get that amazing modern technology?” 😂

This is exactly what I was thinking as he kept repeating it. 😂

Looks really cool! I do wish however that it could easily fit in with the Ninjago city modular sets. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Yes, agreed, this is the way.

That’s the tough thing about it, you sometimes never know when you’re going to get hit by them, although it’s almost exclusively the those smaller businesses as you’ve said.
