You mean Dusty? Yeah, we’ll see if he can recruit. My great hope is that DeVries turns into a 15-20 year hire and quiets all the naysayers. Could be a pipe dream but why not have it.

I think you’re right that Dusty was a HUGE miss and that IU should’ve had a transition plan away from Woody from the get go. But (besides the IU connection) I’m not convinced people would have looked at May any better than DeVries based off resume before this season. Pearl/Donovan never thrilled me.

So let’s say hypothetically the first point wasn’t true. Who would you consider a non-ho-hum hire if the circumstances allowed?

Well you’re making two points: 1. It’s a ho-him hire based on what’s available. (No fault of their own, just circumstance.)
2. They can’t draw a non-ho-hum hire because they aren’t blue blood enough anymore.
The second point is kinda baseless if the first point is true, so why go there?

Well you’re making two points: 1. It’s a ho-him hire based on what’s available. (No fault of their own, just circumstance.)

Plus Quantumania is a FF story shoehorned into an “Antman Family” movie. Just didn’t work.

Totally, also just over flooding with characters. The Disney+ shows were too much other than Loki and Wanda Vision. But both lead nowhere because of all the schedule changes. I went through and felt like some shows could’ve been movies and other show shouldn’t have been made.

I think it’s interesting this notion that the MCU movies pre-endgame were all amazing and the fall off was severe. In reality about a quarter to a third were good/great and the rest were ok/meh/yuck. Since endgame I feel like we’ve seen about the same ratio but an expectation to outdo endgame no way

And what I mean is a collective shrinking of story to move away from multiverse and into the direct threat of an incursion between 616 and whatever designation the new FF Earth is. #mcu

This is great. Nice work. I have to say, for me Clark’s face looks more like Bruce for some reason in my brain. But awesome job regardless.
