It's a desert and you can see clear to a slightly hazy horizon. There's a weird shape in the foreground and if you look closer it eventually becomes obvious that you're seeing the backside support material of something multiple stories high, painted in various colors. It looks very ramshackle, and the Please Do Not Enter sign doesn't detract from that vibe. In the middle distance there are a several old RVs that help give a sense of vast scale.

A very 1980s political cartoon rendering of Margaret Thatcher as a classic sinisterly-smiling vampire with blood dripping from her fangs. It's captioned No wonder she's laughing. I'm almost entirely ignorant of the Scottish National Party's politics, but images like this have been in my head since the 1980s… I've seen a number of similar images depicting Thatcher as a vampire, often drawing out the colonization theme of vampire stories.

finally got my emacs setup just how I like it
Surrealist or psychedelic image with the vibes of 60s or 70s jazz fusion or prog rock album covers. It depicts a woman looking directly at the viewer while typing on a keyboard that is just keys resting upon the sandy desert ground of a landscape that includes a pyramid in the foreground and another snow pyramid in the hills closer to the horizon. She has a circuitboard in her sternum and a shamanesque headcovering of a white leopard with arms and paws extending down part her shoulders, and the leopard's eyes still seem sentient. Crucial for politicians & organizers to hear—academics as well!

Relatedly, this photo of Stuart Hall doing volunteer child care at the Women’s Liberation Movement conference in 1970 remains probably my favorite photo of him.
A couple of men are sitting on the ground with various children, and perhaps there another adult in the background. Stuart Hall is the only one making eye contact with the camera, and he has an apparently passed-out toddler in his lap, head resting on his shoulder.

AND also comes directly from a Lisa Frank artwork, how does that affect the baby?
Four dolphins are surfing a wave and also smiling while playing with a rainbow beach ball. Each dolphin is somehow pink, green, and multiple shades of blue, all set off against a yellowish-orange sunny horizon under a purple sky. It's a very middle school Miami pastel good vibes only sort of lightly psychedelic scene. Most of her art is more lurid and hectic than this.

An incredibly duplicitous thing to do on here is add total trash, fake "alt text" by putting in a space character so the little "alt" overlay will show on the associated image.

Please do better from now on, @veganhorizon.substack.com .

Whether intentional or not, this is incredibly user-hostile.
