I think the answer is pretty simple. 43 states that are red/blue feel their vote has little value. It’s an election of 7 battleground states because Electoral College is dumb. It is fascinating that 5 million less people voted overall this time around

Preach. Biden probably would have done this 2 years ago. Two issues, he said something to the effect of “if we stack the court…GOP will do the same”. Furthermore, Manchin would not not vote for filibuster.

Also need 60 US Senators. No GOP Senator will ever cross aisle. Thus, you need 51 Dem Senators to enact a filibuster. Maybe you get that in 2 years but US prez will still nominate another GOP SCOTUS. So thats at least 4 yrs away…minimum. We are really screwed.
