This is what I want for all places on earth. I think it’s possible everywhere as well, but the costs to create it are higher the more entrenched the existing culture. So right here right now we can create this for cheap. Just by living it with each… each… message? I guess message.
what i want for bluesky is really just this: believing in the possibility of a kinder, more loving, more supportive, more transformative internet. believing that the internet is a place where you can make friends, fall in love, learn to grieve, find beauty, turn your life around
i think bsky is really proving that you can gain social status in all sorts of ways
sure some people do it by being assholes, or through traditional routes
we're in a new world now and it's time to experiment with new ways of living - be kind! be friendly!

I think this works for a lot of stuff. Having faith that you’ll be ok in the downside opens up the ability to stop protecting yourself from bad stuff, and that opening creates more intimacy with the good stuff.
