Attorney in Seattle. That’s my cat, Manny. He only looks annoyed, but really he’s a pretty mellow dude.
I also watched Lawrence of Arabia on my phone, but it would undoubtedly be better on the big screen.

It’s going to take 51 committed senators to do any of what’s needed. Especially to press on despite what will be relentless right wing propaganda as the process goes on.

Trump might seriously be the luckiest President ever. COVID being the big exception.

Trump won with 48.5%, right? So by definition a Democrat doesn't need his voters. Obviously I'd love for them to have a come to Jesus moment, but I'm not holding my breath.

He or any member of his caucus can deny unanimous consent, which they provided as recently as 12/3 for Judge Susan Rodriguez. Disrupting regular order is what we're asking for.

He should try explaining to his boss who pardoned 1,600 of these people.

This is right. It's unreasonable to believe that one party could dominate in this way. Even in the New Deal era, Republicans still won from time to time. However, I don't think the GOP can pull itself back from this, so they must go the way of the Whigs.

Shift the responsibility of the state onto its citizens. Libertarian paradise.

Ok, random reply then. I recently watched S.7, E.3 of Black Mirror and thought you'd like it. I'm guessing the show isn't usually your bag, but this particular episode is a send up to classic B&W Hollywood and a paean to actresses that was excellently done, IMO.
