I think the reason I am holding onto X-Men so firmly right now is because they represent that childhood wonder of superheroes for me right now.
Their stand up against oppression and fight bigotry, and that's what our world is riddled with. I wish some people could live without fear.

As much as I hope the licensed CMG series for LEGO late next year is Marvel series 3... I doubt there will be many comic characters due to the sheer amount of shows and movies coming out for the MCU :/

I ended up binging X-Men: Evolution faster than I expected and I thought it was pretty alright. Regardless of the inconsistencies, it was very enjoyable to watch and my biggest complaint is that we didn't get more.

It's been a hot minute since I built a LEGO set in one sitting. This was very fun and throwing in other X-Men minifigs really adds to it. My set was missing the sticker sheet, though... but honestly I'm not bothered.

After building so many 1,000+ pieces sets, sitting sown to build the LEGO X-Jet (which is only 4 bags) is a very welcomed change of pace.

Finally putting these sets next to each other looks amazing! Even threw in some extra minifigures from the CMFs to add extra life.

I tried to go to bed earlier (because it's almost 7am) but instead I stayed up to finish building my LEGO Sanctum Sanctorum. Just two bags left. (I started this set a year ago and am only finishing it now because I want that X-Mansion)
