Neat world building, I'm curious to continue the story but I don't know how much. Like, I want to know more but nothing grabbed me as much as I would want.

I'm only about 6 months into his letters, but he sends home at least one a week through basic training and then his first post. He's currently hoping his Physical goes right so he can get into the Airborne. He was just put on a month of guard duty at the Japanese Imperial Palace. Incredible stuff.
